Day 5 - strawberry fever

Not much to report today,except that I popped in to the allotment after work to find lots of my strawberries had ripened - about 1kg to be exact.  We had some for pud with a scoop of vanilla ice cream but think the rest are destined for jam.  Much though I love strawberries you can only eat so many!  It looks like it's going to be a scorcher tomorrow so the bike ride to and from work should be interesting....
